We're at day seventy-something... over 1M gallons spew into the gulf each day. BP's record of "making it right" in past incidents is dismal to be nice. This global giant is not British, nor American. Like all other corporations, it is narcissistic, pathological and sociopathic... the bottom line for the share holders it's only conviction. It does not "make it right" nor stand by its promises. It's lords of greed wage war in courts and posture to minimize damage rather than be honorable.
Their reality is so sorted that they cannot see nor fathom how loyal people would be had they been completely contrite and did everything to make this right, really sacrificially doing what's right, being honest, having a remorse that was followed by restitution.
But weep, as the nightmare gets worse... 170M gallons spewed into the Gulf - the largest manmade disaster in history and counting. The damage yet to be realized.
Now - scientists here in New Orleans, at the globally renown Tulane University have studies showing it is contaminating the entire food chain and the story gets only worse!
Weep, for they sowed the wind, and we reap the whirlwind. All the while, the US does not fairly compensate Louisiana for taking its natural resource, as it does Texas, Alaska and Florida. We're treated like the other third world nations raped by US and Global corporations.
